This Privacy Policy explains how Voxycure Infotech (“Voxycure,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you install or use the Ecommerce Image Downloader Chrome extension (“Extension”).

The Extension helps users find and download publicly displayed product images from supported Meesho, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and Ajio product pages.

By installing or using the Extension, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Extension.

1. Summary of Our Data Practices

  • The Extension does not require a Voxycure account or user login.
  • The Extension does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or payment information.
  • The Extension does not send product-page information or downloaded images to Voxycure servers.
  • The Extension does not sell or share user data for advertising.
  • Product images are detected and processed locally within your browser.
  • Images are downloaded only when you select a download button.

2. Information Accessed by the Extension

The Extension accesses limited website content on supported ecommerce pages only as necessary to provide its image-downloading functionality.

Product-page information

The Extension may locally access:

  • The current page URL and website hostname.
  • Product image elements displayed on the page.
  • Product image URLs contained in the page.
  • Image-related HTML attributes and styles.
  • Image information contained in embedded product-page scripts or JSON data.
  • Image filenames, formats, dimensions, and size-related URL parameters.

This information is used to detect available product images, locate higher-resolution versions where available, remove certain image-size parameters, and display the images in the Extension’s local download gallery.

Navigation information

Some supported ecommerce websites load new products without performing a complete page refresh. The Extension monitors local page-address changes so it can refresh the image gallery when you navigate to another product.

The Extension does not store or transmit this navigation information as browsing history. It uses the current page address only within your browser to determine whether the page is supported and whether the displayed product has changed.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

The current version of the Extension does not collect or store:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or other contact information.
  • Your passwords, OTPs, authentication cookies, or account credentials.
  • Your payment-card, banking, UPI, or other financial-account information.
  • Your complete browsing history.
  • Your search history on unrelated websites.
  • Your private communications.
  • Your precise location.
  • Advertising identifiers.
  • Behavioral profiles.
  • Analytics linked to your identity.

The Extension does not require the Chrome identity, storage, cookies, or history permissions.

4. How Images Are Downloaded

The Extension scans a supported product page and displays detected product images in a local gallery. An image is downloaded only after you select its download button.

JPG and PNG images

JPG and PNG images are generally downloaded directly from the ecommerce website or its image-content delivery network to the download folder configured in your browser.

Other image formats

Images in formats such as WebP or AVIF may be fetched by the Extension and converted to JPEG inside your browser before download.

During this conversion:

  • The image is requested from its original ecommerce or image-hosting server.
  • The request is made without browser credentials where supported.
  • The request uses a no-referrer policy.
  • The image is processed temporarily in browser memory.
  • The converted image is downloaded to your device.
  • The image is not uploaded to a Voxycure server.

5. Local Processing and Storage

Image detection, URL processing, gallery creation, and image conversion are performed locally within your browser.

The Extension does not maintain a developer-controlled database of your downloaded images, product pages, or browsing activity.

Temporary image information may remain in browser memory while a product page is open or while an image is being converted. This temporary information is released when it is no longer required, the page or Extension process closes, or the browser clears the relevant memory.

Downloaded images remain on your computer or device until you move or delete them. Your browser may also maintain its own download history according to your browser settings and privacy policy. Voxycure does not control files stored on your device or Chrome’s browser-managed download history.

6. Chrome Permission Justification

Downloads permission

The downloads permission is used to:

  • Download the product image selected by you.
  • Create an appropriate image filename.
  • Save converted images in JPEG format where necessary.
  • Avoid overwriting an existing file by creating a unique filename.

The downloads permission is not used to inspect, upload, or share unrelated files from your computer.

Website access

The Extension requests access to supported ecommerce sites so it can identify and display product images. Supported page domains include:

  • *.meesho.com
  • *.amazon.in
  • *.amazon.com
  • *.flipkart.com
  • *.myntra.com
  • *.ajio.com

The Extension also requires access to image-hosting domains used by these websites so selected images can be displayed, downloaded, or converted. These may include:

  • *.myntassets.com
  • *.flixcart.com
  • *.media-amazon.com
  • *.ssl-images-amazon.com
  • *.jiocdn.com

Website access is limited to providing the Extension’s disclosed product-image discovery and downloading functionality. It is not used to monitor unrelated browsing activity.

7. How We Use Information

The limited website information accessed by the Extension is used only to:

  • Determine whether the current page belongs to a supported ecommerce website.
  • Detect product images displayed on the page.
  • Locate higher-resolution versions of product images where available.
  • Create a local image-selection gallery.
  • Download the image selected by you.
  • Convert an unsupported image format to JPEG when necessary.
  • Create a suitable filename for the downloaded image.
  • Refresh the gallery when the product-page address changes.
  • Diagnose errors locally through browser console messages.

8. Data Sharing and External Requests

We do not sell, rent, trade, or disclose personal information, product-page information, image URLs, or downloaded images to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

When you download an image, the Extension communicates with the ecommerce website or image-hosting service where that image is stored. That service may receive technical information normally associated with a network request, such as your IP address and request time.

Processing performed by Meesho, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, or their image-hosting providers is governed by their respective privacy policies.

The Extension does not send downloaded images or image URLs to Voxycure servers.

9. Chrome Web Store Limited Use Disclosure

Website information accessed by the Extension is used only to provide or improve its single disclosed purpose: allowing users to find and download product images from supported ecommerce product pages.

We do not use or transfer website data for personalized advertising, advertising profiles, data brokerage, creditworthiness, lending purposes, or the sale of user data.

We do not collect browsing activity except for temporary, local access to the current supported page as necessary to provide the user-facing image-downloading feature.

10. Data Retention

Voxycure does not retain a server-side copy of product-page information, image URLs, images, or download history processed by the Extension.

  • Detected image URLs: Used temporarily within the active product page and not stored in a Voxycure database.
  • Image-conversion data: Held temporarily in browser memory during conversion and released when no longer needed.
  • Downloaded images: Retained on your device until you move or delete them.
  • Browser download history: Managed by your browser according to your browser settings.

11. Data Security

The Extension requests product images through HTTPS when the source website provides an HTTPS image address. Image conversion is performed locally, and conversion requests are made without credentials and without a referrer where supported.

No software or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your browser, computer, device, and downloaded files.

12. Your Choices

  • You decide whether to select and download an image.
  • You can remove downloaded images from your device at any time.
  • You can clear your browser’s download history through browser settings.
  • You can disable or uninstall the Extension at any time.
  • You can manage the Extension’s website access through Chrome’s extension settings.

13. Copyright and Acceptable Use

The Extension provides a technical method for downloading images that are accessible from supported product pages. It does not grant ownership of, a licence to, or permission to reuse any image.

You are responsible for ensuring that your downloading, copying, editing, publishing, or commercial use of an image complies with applicable copyright, trademark, intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, and ecommerce-platform requirements.

Do not download or reuse an image unless you own it, have permission from the rights holder, or are otherwise legally permitted to use it.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

15. Third-Party Services and Trademarks

The Extension operates on third-party ecommerce websites. Voxycure does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, availability, or terms of those websites.

“Meesho,” “Amazon,” “Flipkart,” “Myntra,” “Ajio,” and their related names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Ecommerce Image Downloader is independently developed by Voxycure Infotech. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Voxycure Infotech is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any supported ecommerce platform.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Extension features, permissions, supported websites, data practices, legal requirements, or Chrome Web Store policies change.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how the Extension handles user data, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
